Castelvetro di Modena
Castelvetro is a small town in the provice of Modena, and nearby Giulia’s home-town of Maranello. It’s an idyllic piece of the Italian countryside.
Flights
The closest airport to Castelvetro is Bologna’s Guglielmo Marconi Airport. From the UK, there are a few direct Ryanair flights from Edinburgh, Manchester, and London Luton per week, as well as daily flights from London Stansted. Other operators serving Bologna via direct flight from the UK are British Airways from London Heathrow and EasyJet from London Gatwick.
Bologna (BLQ)
From Bologna airport, Maranello is a 40-minute drive. If you’re taking public transport, we recommend the airport bus into Bologna city centre (7 mins) taking a high-speed train from the central station to Modena (25 mins), and catching a taxi to Maranello (20 mins).
